Think of the youth of 1976

Think of the youth of 1976
“to all my South African heroes that took part physically or spiritual or mentally to the Soweto uprising I anchor my humble honor to uphold the flag of love you have plotted in our lives, this short self-description is not made to devastate your vision but restate it to the community and the youth that live your legacy. To the heroes that died due to all the struggles that smuggled our country at the time may your souls rest in peace and to the living ones honor be done as I treasure your presence in my time.”
#this writing is not written to impress anyone but to reinstall sense to those who are concern# such a day has arrived across the country of our beautiful land where we commemorate the youth of 1976. It may sound unreliable but for the minds that analyze and integrated this shall make a great sense. It’s been years and years where we commemorate the youth of 1976, a very important day to the South African community as one deep true sense into this issue of commemorating I come unaligned with us all. Maybe it make sense to most of us to meet in a single stadium for the national purpose or in our respective provincial stadiums for provincial purposes every year on the 16th of June then say we are commemorating our 1976 heroes. It shall take us time to understand factual things as we follow these political mafias serving their purposes by corrupting the government in a reasonable manner. In their expensive suits, subsidized cars and all the other expenses that you can think of they always show up to give you a speech of an hour then you shall be happy cause you have commemorated our heroes. Probably it is important to reconsider the objectives, mission and vision that the youth of 1976 and tell me if there’s anywhere where they stated that they wanted any fame or event about what they were doing. They did this out of heart with the following major objection, mission and vision: they fought against the Afrikaans teaching educational system in order to receive fair and equal education for every child. There are many reasons that the history states about the purposes of the Soweto uprising including unsatisfaction and inequality within the educational system of the time. Taking a bridge of the surrounding lines here we discover one important intelligence that the youth had “education is the key to success” hence it has to be available to everyone. They did this knowing that it might take time to improve or be implicated but still they did it for the generation that that shall come after them which is what we call vision. Every year we gather together and enjoy the day with respect of commemorating the youth of 1976 the question is; are we doing what they visualized about the youth of today. They visualized every young person having fair education in which the education department can stand for today but still as a young person have you ever ask yourself as to how much money is being spent by making one event possible? Truly it cost millions and millions which at times are never unveiled to us as youth embracing the efforts of the 1976 youth. I fear to see their faces for shame should be seen as we fill the Orlando stadium to see the president give a speech, dance like nobody’s business, get drunk like never before and get one can of a drink and a single take away with a happy smile we have commemorated them hahahaha. Is that what they fought for or what? After the event they give you a can of a drink and a single take away and the question is where are you going to sleep that night with food from where. Many questions that have to arises to you as a young person are questions such as: how many bursaries, scholarships would be offered or how many libraries would be built, how many schools would be improved, how many learnerships, the list never end which was the greatest vision of the 1976 youth quality education for everyone (for every black child). I may be wrong but this is just a misuse of their vision, how many children arrive at tertiary knowing nothing about a computer anyway their children attend private schools and attend the “universities” and keep on fooling us around being told about the legacy that the youth 1976 had. Their greatest vision was to see education reach every child along the street and that education must be equal but instead we find our political face icon themselves in front of the media claiming the commemoration of the 1976 youth in which close to less than their vision is achieved; as they spend from preparation along transport from across the country anyway we haven’t been in town did you notice that you couldn’t attend that science expo because your school didn’t have enough money, cant mention the transport to school, the chemicals to do your chemistry practical, the transport to Pretoria to check the South African museum(history class), what about the budget speech(economics learners)  but the government have money to surpass and commemorate the youth of 1976. As if it was a bash-we then blame the youth by saying they are swimming in drugs how can we celebrate such an event which include souls lost, some families are still grieving when this day appears in their memories, wow! This is no difference of having an after party after our family member passed out (westernized mind fill our mental capacity but still you blame apartheid). This is supposed to be a day when we listen to our wavelengths as the generation of today report as to how much they benefited from all sorts of projects: job opportunities given, educational benefits, business wise, tenders, agriculture and so on. The only way in which apartheid depicted the black is through the programming of the mind, we went to fight a physical war whilst our minds were already destroyed so is our political view everyday they feed us with food for they understand we will clap hands. We celebrate many days in the country but loose the main victory vision behind the fight won by those warriors. I may not be off excellence but we are judged equally in tertiary because we pay same amount but you lose the war before you reach the winning line because your school facilities didn’t bring much practical view of the study. It’s our day hence we can decide what we want: the best commemoration to the 1976 youth would be testimonies of how much we benefited from the equal education; they even lost their lives for us to have such great education today. If you understand what you need you must know what it takes to be that and never allow politics loosen your value of living.”I honor the youth of 1976 but fail to understand if we live their victory”#if yu wanna fight me post back to me”
